Umbrella Car Parking Shades, Nairobi Commercial Building

This commercial building's forecourt needed shade cover across a long run of parking bays serving both staff and visitors, in a layout where vehicles park in a single row facing the building.

Elatec installed a series of umbrella-style shade units along the forecourt, each mounted on a single central post positioned in the landscaped strip between bays, keeping the parking surface itself completely clear of obstructions. The repeated umbrella form creates a consistent, orderly line of shade cover along the full forecourt.

Finished in cream tensile fabric, the row of structures now shelters the full length of the parking area, giving the building a shaded forecourt that reads as a deliberate design feature rather than a retrofit.
