Electric Fence & Razor Wire Wall-Top Combo, Kikuyu

This Kikuyu property's stone-block boundary wall needed the strongest practical top-of-wall deterrent available. The brief combined both razor wire and an electric fence on the same wall line, rather than choosing one over the other.

Elatec fitted green PVC-coated posts along the full wall run, each carrying both a coil of razor wire and multiple electric fence wire strands. The razor wire provides an immediate physical barrier to anyone attempting to climb the wall, while the live wire strands running alongside add an active deterrent and breach-detection layer on the same structure.

Running along a wall bordered by mature trees for much of its length, the combined system gives the property maximum top-of-wall security without needing two separate installations or double the mounting hardware, with razor wire and electric fence sharing one set of wall-top posts along the entire boundary.
