Boundary Wall Privacy Shade Screen, Nairobi

This Nairobi property's stone boundary wall was solid but not quite tall enough to fully screen the compound from neighbouring buildings, a common situation where raising the wall itself would mean expensive masonry work and possible approval delays.

Elatec fitted a dense green privacy shade net along the full top edge of the existing wall, mounted on a simple frame that extends the effective screening height without touching the wall structure itself. The net's tight weave blocks direct sightlines while still allowing wind to pass through, avoiding the sail effect a solid panel would create in strong wind.

The finished screen gives the property the additional privacy height it needed at a fraction of the cost and disruption of extending the wall in masonry, with a clean, uniform green line along the entire boundary run.
