6kW Solar Backup System Installation, Nairobi

This 6kW solar backup installation covers a red-tiled roof at a Nairobi apartment complex, with panels distributed across multiple roof sections to make the most of available sun-facing area on a shared building rooftop.

The photos capture the installation actively in progress (two technicians lifting a panel into its mounting position on the roof edge, with cabling and tools laid out along the tiles) through to the finished array spread across the full roof span, overlooking neighbouring apartment blocks and a playground below.

Indoors, an SRNE lithium battery and hybrid inverter were wall-mounted alongside an Indoasian distribution board, completing the system. A video walkthrough of the finished installation is included alongside the photos, giving a fuller view of the completed rooftop array and indoor equipment working together.
